I can only imagine how she would react to this change in scenery. Well... to be honest, I was quite sure you'd come, if you got a personal invitation. It certainly seems appropriate for someone in your position: a little bit of begging, or people humbling themselves with a request, and that should cover it! But I guess it wasn't meant to be this time.
