Well in that case it is very much possible for this person to know you but you have no recollection. If he is being truthful it could be that he has been brought here from a future point in your world's timeline. You may not remember him because from the point in time you arrived here from, you haven't met him yet.

I'm sad to say it's been quite necessary for me at home, but things can get better I'm sure.

The last time I was there, not in the best state. We...had just gone to war in a sense.

[She just can't believe he'd ask her out of the blue is all] Well apart from the general domestic tasks, cooking, cleaning and sowing, I have some forms of combat and weapon experience. [Yeah still self-conscious about freaking people out about being a living weapon.]

With the way things work here if I were to go home I'd be brought back to the exact point I left anyway. Besides, I'd rather not leave my...partner alone during all this. He can be a handful when not supervised.
