We both hold a contract, do we not? Can you be so sure that both aren't still valid in this matter?

I could order something similar.

Besides, .. I wouldn't advise attempting such an order. Though we may be divided by space and time we are in fact still the same person. Ordering him to stop following my orders... well.. could order him to stop following your orders as well.
